On March 18th, 2021, the battalion conducted training as part of the Department of Defense stand down on domestic extremism in the United States military. CAPT Zacharski briefed the battalion on their duties as future Officers in the United States Navy and Marine Corps as well as reaffirming their oath to the constitution of the United States. Midshipmen, active duty staff, and enlisted took their respective oaths of office after listening to the brief.
