Summer Semester and Tutoring
University of Wisconsin – Madison provides tutors for help in Math and Science courses. The tutors are at the unit during the evening hours of 1800- 2100 (6:00pm – 9:00pm), Monday – Thursday and on selected Sundays, throughout the semester. The tutors are typically graduate students in the Department of Math or Physics and are an excellent resource for midshipmen.
NROTC midshipmen are not required to take classes in the summer. If midshipmen choose to take classes in the summer, the cost of that class will not be covered by the ROTC scholarship unless that class could not be taken during the academic year.
